| GOD'S
OWN COUNTRY |
|
|
|
Kerala,
a mere strip of land in southwestern India, is hugged by the coast
on one side and by the hills on the other. Geographically, an exotic
mixture of nature's very best with high ranges of the Western Ghats
on the east and the cool Arabian Sea on the west. In between them
are the virgin forests, commercial plantations, long stretches of
backwaters, emerald isles and palm fringed beaches. |
|
| The
colourful festivals with its mysterious rituals, herds of elephants,
exotic handicrafts, seafood cuisine, small cities where the past is
still at hand and the sleepy towns where time stands still; all this
& more makes Kerala an ideal holiday destination, far away from
the cares of everyday life. |
